Have you heard about the pools at Lake of the Ozarks? Most likely the answer is yes – thanks to Memorial Day Weekend 2020, the Backwater Jacks’ pool party that made national news during the early days of Covid-19.

Lake of the Ozarks once known for “Party Cove” has quickly turned the party scene in the lake into swim-up bars and pools that line the shorelines.  Whether you’re looking for a party scene, a family-friendly environment, or just a spot to grab some grub and hang at the pool, Lake of the Ozarks has a spot for you.

We’ve included a list of all the lakefront pools below including those that are family-friendly. Here are our favorites.

Easily accessible from Fancy Lake Vacations by land or water. If you’re craving seafood, especially sushi, this is the place to go. They have a poolside Sushi and Asian grill with amazing wonton nachos, a lemon drop sushi roll to cure the hot summer days, and don’t forget to order a “lake water” to drink. The vibe – is a no-kid party scene with live poolside music on weekends, a swim-up bar, and a full restaurant in addition to the sushi grill. Arrive early to claim your lounger boat slip, and beat the lunch-time/afternoon crowds.

Top Vote for water access. Just 2 miles by water from Fancy Lake Vacations, they have SeaDoo slips, boat parking, and fuel. Open year-round, this is always a favorite for lunch-time. They have awesome burgers and the tastiest fanciest tacos.  With 3 pools, HighTide (https://www.hightidepool.com/) (Adults only) opened in the summer of 2022 there is a pool for everyone, including the kids.
